MSD designed this 8227 Blaster Ignition Coil for 1983-1997 Ford TFI applications as an OEM Replacement. This Blaster Coil is designed for a maximum output of 44,000 volts, a significant improvement over stock ignition coils! Special 85:1 windings as well as lower primary resistance provide maximum voltage build-up.

To get even more ignition performance, install an MSD Ignition Control. To ease the wiring with an MSD Ignition, use the Universal Harness, PN 8874.
