This Comp Cams 12-412-8 SBC XR264HR Xtreme Energy Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for mild performance applications, and it features very good mid-range and a nice idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, 3.23 – 3.73 gears and a 1600+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
