Description

Holley designed this 565-340 Hyperspark Ready-To-Run Distributor as the easiest plug-and-play way to add timing control to a Sniper EFI Installation for Small Block as well as Big Block Chevy engines. This distributor comes with a built-in ignition coil driver with enough spark energy for applications up to 450 horsepower, removing the need of mounting an ignition box or external coil driver.

The design includes a single Hall Effect sensor providing engine rpm to the ECU. The precision shutter wheel design ensures accurate timing, even at very high engine speeds. It can also be used with other EFI systems that support a Hall Effect crank signal input.

This distributor is also compatible with most canister ignition coils using the supplied ring terminals. The foolproof patented clear installation cap eliminates any confusion during installation, and it also includes a wire retainer for a clean installation.

This comes with a cast gear installed. Please contact your camshaft manufacturer for recommended gear material.
