Description
This MSD 6427 6CT Ignition Control is the most advanced and durable ignition to ever hit the circle track! This unit delivers over 535 volts to the coil with up to 150mJ of spark energy for every firing! Coupled with a sleek low profile, all wiring is routed out one end of the unit through a sealed and locking connector for a clean installation that also keeps the wiring dry.
MSD relocated the rev limiter to the top of the housing for easy access to the three rotary dials that set the cylinder select for 4, 6 as well as 8 cylinder engines. They also adjust the built-in start retard that provides options of 0 degrees, 10 degrees or 20 degrees of timing retard for quick starts.
This ignition has a cast aluminum housing that is epoxy filled to prevent damage to the circuit board. It will accept trigger inputs from breaker points, amplifiers, as well as magnetic pickups.
Wiring harness, vibration mounts as well as all components needed for installation are included.
