This MSD 6462 6-BTM Ignition Control is ideal for engines with either a turbo or supercharger! This unit delivers over 470 volts to the coil with up to 110mJ of spark energy for every firing! This box features an adjustable boost as well as timing retard circuit to prevent detonation. The 6 BTM lets you dial away detonation by retarding the timing in relation to the boost pressure.

MSD has also included a dash mounted control knob. This allows the adjustment of the timing retard from 0 degrees per pound of boost to 3 degrees per pound (up to 15 degrees). This unit also features the Soft Touch Rev Control of the 6AL for overrev protection.

This ignition is compatible on 4-, 6-, as well as 8-cylinder engines with 12-18 volt electrical systems. It will accept trigger inputs from breaker points, amplifiers, as well as magnetic pickups.

Supplied with rubber shock mounts as well as rpm modules. Wiring harness, vibration mounts as well as all components needed for installation are included.
