This MSD 72223 7AL-2 Plus Ignition Control has all of the features of the standard 7AL-2, with the addition of a built-in 2 Step Rev Control! This unit also has a useful diagnostic LED, and delivers over 570 volts to the coil with up to 160mJ of spark energy for every firing!

The 7AL-2 Plus provides improved throttle response, idle and launch consistency as well as off-corner performance! Two terminal strips allow for ease of wiring, and the soft touch rev control protects the engine from damage due to over-revving. Adjustments are made easily with MSDs plug in modules.

This ignition is compatible on 4-, 6-, as well as 8-cylinder engines with negative ground electrical systems. It will accept trigger inputs from breaker points, amplifiers, as well as magnetic pickups.

Wiring harness, vibration mounts as well as all components needed for installation are included.
