MSD designed this 8228 Blaster Ignition Coil for late model Dodge and Chevy applications as an OEM Replacement. This Blaster Coil is designed for a maximum output of 40,000 volts, a significant improvement over stock ignition coils! Special 70:1 windings as well as lower primary resistance provide maximum voltage build-up.

To get even more ignition performance, install an MSD Ignition Control. To ease the wiring with an MSD Ignition, use the Universal Harness, PN 8873.
