MSD designed this 8251 Pro Power HVC Race Ignition Coil for use in racing applications with an MSD 7 or 8 series ignition! It features MSDs new U-Core winding design that produces more voltage and current than previous designs. It also has a tough, rigid Rynite housing with a spark plug style terminal as well as threaded brass primary studs.

This coil has a maximum voltage of 45,000 Volts and a Peak Current of 1.1 Amps! The iron U-Core design has a Dupont Rynite FR946 segmented bobbin for improved voltage distribution. This material has incredible dielectric capabilities at high temperatures. The cutting-edge winding material features improved insulation as well as being capable of enduring extreme voltages.

Together, these materials create a durable coil with incredible voltage capabilities, lightning quick rise time as well as lengthy spark duration.
